FAQ's

What to Bring:
1. Remember that rain suit just in case. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and camera are always good. We will have a camera onboard and we reserve the rights to photos taken by us on our boats, and we do email them to you.

2. Lunch, snacks and drinks. There’s always plenty of ice and room in the onboard cooler.

3. Rods/Reels and Tackle. You can bring your own equipment or use the equipment provided by the guide. You are responsible for broken or lost equipment.  

Can we keep what we catch?
We practice catch and release of all Bass. If you wish to keep any other species that will be ok.

Live Bait?
We use only artificial lures for Bass fishing. We do at times use other types of baits when fishing for other species. This works especially well for younger anglers.                                     

Do I need a license?
When fishing with us you are not required to purchase a license on the Potomac River with the exception of DC waters. If that license is needed the Captain will have them on board for $13. Our Captains are United States Coast Guard certified 
and boats are licensed with the Potomac River Fisheries Commission and the State of Maryland.
